Private Pasta Classes

All of our classes are 3-4 hours long and end with a 3 course dinner in the shop! We have two curriculums to choose from, each offering unique learning opportunities!

The menu can be adjusted to each class individually, so you can truly tailor your experience to be special for you! The three course dinner includes the pasta and sauce that you make, as well as an appetizer and dessert made by the team at The Chubby Cupboard. Enjoy your hard work with a lovely dinner to end your evening!

We now offer two curriculums to choose from; Sheeted and Thumbprint! All classes begin with a lesson on how to make our base pasta dough from scratch.

Sheeted pasta is pasta that is made by forming a long, thin sheet of dough and then cutting and shaping your pasta. This is great for home cooks that have a pasta machine (hand crank or automatic) to learn how to better utilize their equipment! Students learn how to cut noodles, and how to make 5 pasta shapes with their sheets.

Thumbprint pasta is pasta that is made by using the hands and friction in order to shape your pasta. These shapes are traditional, authentic, and use minimal equipment, making this the perfect class for students that do not have a roller at home, but still want to make delicious pastas! Students learn 8 shapes in this class.

When selecting your class date, you will be asked to choose which which type of pasta (Sheeted or Thumbprint) you would like to learn, as well as which sauce pairing you would like to be taught. You will also provide us with the number of guests you are booking for, as well as letting us know if there is any allergies within your party.

A $180 non-refundable deposit reserves your class date. You will receive an emailed invoice for the remainder of your class fees, and that remainder is due no later than 14 days before your class. This helps us ensure we have all of the proper ingredients and time to prepare our space, offering you the best quality finished product and experience.
